Did you go to Perdido school from 1965 to 1985? If you did there will be a meeting Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. in the auditorium regarding Benzine in the water.
November 8
E.C.H.S will host a Veterans Day program Monday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. Herbert Barnes Football Stadium. All veterans and local military personnel (active or retired) are encouraged to attend.
November 11
Members of the Walnut Hill Ruritan Club invite the public to join them in observance of Veteran's Day Nov. 11 at the Walnut Hill Community Center between 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Refreshments will be served along with opportunity to view the updated Veterans Honor Wall.

Golden Care- a program for Seniors, will meet on Thursday, Nov. 11. Blood pressure checks and refreshments at 8:30 a.m. with the program at 9 a.m. Topic will be " Facts of Health Care", presented by Melissa Pearson, D.W. McMillan Hospital Home Health Manager. The Humane Society of Escambia County will have pet pictures with Santa Claus (Santa Paws) at Brewton Animal Hospital Saturday, Nov.r 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pictures will be a 4×6 digital camera photo for a minimum donation of $5.
Children are also welcome. Proceeds will benefit the Spay and Neuter fund. For more info contact Susanne Sirmon 368-9349.

The Huxford Volunteer Fire Department will be having their annual turkey shoot on Saturday, November 13th at the huxford elementary school. It will start at 9:00a.m. and end at 2:00p.m. the cost will be $2.00 per shot. All proceeds will go to the Fire Department.
