The Middleton-Milton Family is holding their first Annual Family Reunion the week of Thanksgiving in Atmore. Activities are scheduled from November 24-28th.

Long Term Recovery Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Department of Human Resources office. Representatives from churches, social service agencies and government officials involved in disaster-related services please plan to attend.

The Atmore Historical Society will sponsor a day trip to Bellingrath Gardens on Tuesday November 30. The trip will leave at 12:45 p.m. from St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church parking lot. The $35 fee includes: transportation; a tour of the two-story Bellingrath home; a buffet supper and a walking tour of the gardens lighted for Christmas. We should be back at the Catholic Church by 9 p.m. that night.
To reserve your place on the tour, please contact John Garrard (368-3370) as soon as possible. Checks for the trip, made out to the Atmore Historical Society, are due by Saturday Nobember 27. Checks should be mailed to Mr. John Garrard; 303 E. Pine St; Atmore, AL 36502. The trip is open to the general public.

The Humane Society of Escambia County will be having pet pictures with Santa Claus (Santa Paws) at Atmore Animal Hospital Saturday, December 4th from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Pictures will be a 4×6 digital camera photo for a min. donation of $5.00. Children are also welcome. Proceeds will benefit the Spay and Neuter fund. For more info contact Susanne Sirmon 368-9349.

Charity Radio Control Flying Event proceeds will benefit the Angel Tree. Dec. 4th from 9a.m. to 3p.m. Behind Brooks Memorial Baptist Church. Open to the public Donations will be appreciated. Food on site.
