Grace Hovell
PENSACOLA – Grace Hovell, 93, of Pensacola passed away Wednesday, June 22.
Mrs. Hovell was born in Stedman to the late Neely and Nettie Martin. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Franklin Hovell; a daughter, Linda Martin and her husband, Bill Parrott, of Pensacola; two sisters, Edna Barrentine and her husband Cliff, and Gladys Middleton and her husband, Haskew, of Atmore; eight nieces, Kim Woodham, Debbie Stacey, Karen Martin, Beverly Morley, Pam Middleton, Nancie del Real, Mary Hilmer, and Cecilia Jacobs; and three nephews, Doug Martin, Bob Middleton, and Jim Stacey.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home of Pensacola is in charge of arrangements.
Jesse Willard Wilson, Jr.
MOBILE – Mr. Jesse Willard Wilson, Jr., 40, of Perdido passed away Saturday, June 25 at a Mobile hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Graveside services will follow at Mamie's Chapel Cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday, June 28, at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Chicago, Ill., and a resident of Perdido for the past 20 years. He was a loving son and father, and was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Willard Wilson, Sr. He is survived by his son, Jesse Willard Wilson III of Perdido; his daughter, Gwen Estelle Wilson of Bay Minette; his mother, Patricia Minnie Wilson of Perdido; a brother, Jonathan Hall of Chicago; a sister, Carol Wilson of Chicago; and a half-sister, Betty Hadley of Perdido.
Pallbearers will be Tracey Mobley, Alex Tyree, Bennie Tyree, Wayne Coleman, Joe Odom, and Earnie Hall.
Myrtle P. Steward
PENSACOLA – Miss Myrtle P. Steward, 83, of Atmore passed away Sunday, June 26, in Pensacola. She was a homemaker, born in Escambia County, Ala., on November 1, 1921, to the late Frank A. and Lula Minnie Miller Steward.
She is preceded in death by her half-sister, Mary Frances Peacock.
She is survived by her half-sister, Gussie Dean Sellers of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, at 2 p.m. from the Little Rock Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ Church with Bro. Hugh Tubs, Bro. Raymond Bishop, and Pastor Leo Kent officiating. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday, June 28, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home. Miss Steward will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service time.

Robert Earl Poston, Sr.
ATMORE – Mr. Robert Earl Poston, Sr., 66, of Barnett Crossroads passed away Friday, June 24 in Atmore. He was employed by the State of Alabama Highway Dept. as an Equipment Operator. He was born on December 21, 1938 in Davisville, Fla., to Jessie Poston and Annie Hadley.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Poston, and a son, James Allen Poston.
He is survived by his mother, Annie B. Dees of Atmore; three sons, Robert Earl Poston, Jr., of Lumberton, Miss., William Poston of Bay Minette, and Terry Poston of Foley; a longtime companion, Voncile Dees of Barnett Crossroads; five grandchildren, Brett Schielder, Justin Poston, Tyler Poston, Jonathan Hadley, and Kindra Hadley; and three great-grandchildren, Tessa Schielder, Tray Hadley, and Alisa Hadley.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 27, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Welch officiating. Graveside services followed in Oak Hill cemetery. The family received friends Sunday, June 26 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Isaiah Williams
ROBERTSDALE – Mr. Isaiah Williams, 74, of Bay Minette passed away Friday, June 24, at Robertsdale Health Care Facility.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Turner Funeral Chapel.
