Rev. Cary L. Rigby
NORTHPORT – Rev. Cary L. Rigby of Northport, Ala., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005.
Rev. Rigby was a graduate of Southeastern Bible College in 1942, a member of both West Florida and Alabama Districts of the Assemblies of God, serving 63 years in various ministries including pastoring several churches in both districts.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Godwin Rigby, his parents, Andrew Bascom and Helon McClinton Rigby, one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Rigby, one daughter, Connie L. Bright, step children, Karen Miller and Aubrey Perry, eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one brother, Hollis Rigby, numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and family.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery in Bratt, Fla.
Pallbearers were: Ray Hodgen, Randy Rigby, James Watford, James Mauldin, Joe Nall and Scott Nall. The honorary pallbearers were members of the Southeastern Bible College Pioneers. Eastside Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Mr. James Fleeton
CENTURY – Mr. James Fleeton, 52 passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. Services to be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Fred Drew
McCULLOUGH – Mr. Fred Drew, 90, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005 in Atmore Community Hospital. Drew was a native of McCullough. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy R. Drew, two sons, Byron R. Drew of Gainesville, Ga. And T. Wayne Drew of McCullough, and one daughter, Fredean Booker of Huxford; two sisters, Lula Demko of Bay Minette and Marie Wooten of Atmore; two brothers, Edsen Drew of Mobile, Edward Drew of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; five grandsons, T. Rus Drew of Lawrenceville, Ga., Richard F. Drew of Arlington, Va., Edward Booker of Uriah, Todd and James Booker of Gainesville, Ga., and Travis and Lane Booker of Uriah, numerous relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home. Internment followed at McCullough Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his grandsons: T. Rus and Richard F. Drew, Edward, Todd and James Booker, and nephew, Eddie Wooten.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
H. Harold Young
PENSACOLA – Mr. H. Harold Young, 69, formerly of Pensacola, passed away, Friday, Oct. 14, 2005. He was born Jan. 22, 1936 in Tupelo, Miss., moving here in 1963. He went to work with the Escambia County Sheriffs Department in 1966 and retired in 1999 as a Lieutenant. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy of Bay Minette, member of Escambia Lodge #15 F &AM, and was a loving Father, Grandfather and great grandfather.
His parents, Harvey and Johnnie Harris Young, preceded Mr. Young in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Nelson (Ted), grandson, Shane Carter (Melissa), granddaughter, Christy Phillips (Jeff), five great grandchildren, Jackie Carter, Brittany Carter, Kirsten Carter, Joshua Winkler and Kayla Phillips and special friends, Wayne Pittman and family.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Donavan of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Bayview Memorial park Cemetery, with honors given from the Escambia County Sheriffs Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Pittman, Larry Mainer, Louie Kemp, Jack Cox, Virgil Griffith and Rick Coleman.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of N. W. Florida. Flowers will be appreciated, or contributions may be made to Hospice of N.W. Florida. Oak Lawn Funeral Home of Pensacola, Fla., was in charge of all arrangements.
Billie Jo "Bit" Morhauser
ATCO, N. J. – Ms. Billie Jo "Bit" Morhauser, 48 of Atco, N. J., passed away suddenly in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005.
Ms. Morhauser was born in Alabama and resided in Atco, N. J. She was a day care director and friend to Teri and Phil Bardes at Mac 'N' Tots in Shamong.
Her mother, Annie Rackard and brother, Aaron Rackard, Jr, precede her in death.
Ms. Morhauser is survived by her two children, Robby and Tia Morhauser; her father, Aaron Rackard; her brother, Bobby Rackard; four sisters, Joann Welch, Jill Abrams, Gail Ruberton and Johnnie Ruth Chappine; her beloved friend, Fred Bohling; 18 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; and all those that she loved to ride with.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 28, 2005 at the Mathis Funeral Home in Medford, N. J.
R. E. Bobby Henderson
FLOMATON – Mr. R. E. "Bobby" Henderson, 60, of Flomaton, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Henderson was a native of Montgomery and a lifelong resident of the Flomaton community. He was retired from CSX railroad where he worked as an agent. Mr. Henderson was of the Holiness faith.
His parents, V. E. 'Red' and Annie Mae Lowery Henderson; a brother, Don and a sister, Vivian, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bethea Henderson of Flomaton; two sons, Sean (Amber) Henderson of Mobile; Patrick (Robyn) Henderson of Roanoke; one brother, Tommy Henderson of Flomaton; two sisters, Sue (Wayne) Johnson and Pam (Dooley) Mathis of Century, Fla. and one grandchild, Ada Henderson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Pugh and Rev. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial will follow at the Flomaton Cemetery.

Evelyn Lee Robinson Wellnitz
JANESVILLE, WI – Evelyn Lee Robinson Wellnitz, age 74, of Janesville, WI died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005 at home. She was born in Repton on July 14, 1931 to Ollie and Ethel Mae (Gray) Robinson. She graduated from Escambia County High School in Atmore with a perfect attendance record. She married Edward J. Wellnitz on May 30, 1953 in Atmore. He died on April 24, 1999. She had been a resident of Janesville since 1954.
Mrs. Wellnitz was an active member of the Westside Baptist Church where she belonged to its Women's bible study, women's secret sisters, Women's Fellowship and the Greeting and Encouragement Ministry.
Her parents, husband; two brothers, Ted and Jessie and a sister, Hazel Chamberlain, preceded Mrs. Wellnitz in death.
She is survived by seven children, Mary (Randy) Schmidt of Fort Wayne, Ind., Catherine (Scott) Daniel of Chicago, Ill., Laura (Mark) Bickle, Tom (Marianne) Wellnitz, Mark Wellnitz, Carol (Gene) Williams all of Janesville, Wisc., and John (Sue) Wellnitz of Appleton, Wisc.,; eight grandchildren: Jennifer, Sarah, Sid, Elliott, Lizzie, Kayla, Gene, Jr., and Eddy; two brothers, Bill (Dorothy) Robinson of Atmore and Eddie (Linda) Robinson of Mobile; and a sister, Kathryn (Charles) Pezent of Jackson, Ala..
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at the Westside Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Logan officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Westside Baptist Church, American Cancer Society or Mercy Hospice.

ATMORE – Mrs. Myrtice Cody, 75, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005 at Atmore Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 at Gaines Chapel A.M.E. Church in Atmore. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2005 at Christian Memorial Funeral Home.
Lexanna Edwards Locke
ATMORE – Mrs. Lexanna Edwards Locke, 86, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005 at Atmore Nursing Care Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 at Christian Memorial Funeral Chapel in Atmore. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2005 at Christian Memorial Funeral Home. Christian Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Louise Henderson
PERDIDO – Mrs. Louise Henderson, 85, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 in Andalusia. Mrs. Henderson was a native of Stanley Crossroads, and a resident of Perdido for most of her life. She was a former employee of Vanity Fair for 35 years. Mrs. Henderson attended the Baptist and protestant church.
Her husband, Willie Lane Henderson and two brothers, Buck Brook and Marvin Brook, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert (Dorothy) Weeks of Grand Bay and Bobby (Mary) Weeks of Chunchula; five daughters, Glenda (Talton) Godwin of Walnut Hill, Fla., Frances Weeks of Atmore, Betty (Braxton) Thomley of Perdido, June Townson of Atmore, and Wanda (Johnny) Mosley of Andalusia; 28 grandchildren, 29 great – grandchildren and 1 great – great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Traveler's Rest Cemetery in Atmore. Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
