Charles Harold Bracken, Sr.
BAY MINETTE – Mr. Charles Harold Bracken, Sr., 44, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 in Bay Minette. Mr. Bracken was a native and lifelong resident of Bay Minette where he attended the Baptist church.
His father, Harold Dean Bracken, preceded him in death. Survivors include: his wife, Knovel Bracken of Bay Minette; his mother, Annis Bracken of Bay Minette; four sons, Charles Harold Bracken, Jr., Daniel Bracken, Justin Bracken, all of Bay Minette, and Jacob Cody Adams of Mobile; three daughters, Heather Gaines, Jessica Bracken and Nicole Bracken, all of Bay Minette; one grandchild; two brothers, Michael Bracken of Bay Minette and Tim Bracken of Columbia, S. C.; and five sisters, Virginia Lee of Bay Minette, Nina McDuffie of Bay Minette, Anne Long of Theodore, Amy Huggins of Robertsdale and Marie Graham of Stapleton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Full Power Holiness Church with Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers are: Billy McDuffie, Jason Graham, Chris Parnell, Tommy Lacey, Anthony Cooley and Bobby Lee.
Mrs. Sandra Kirk Thomason
DALTON – Mrs. Sandra Kirk Thomason, 63, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Her father, R.E. Kirk and her brother, Jerry Kirk, preceded her in death. Sandra is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robie and Lucy Thomason of Watertown, Tenn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Jada and Jon Nelson of Signal Mountain, Tenn., and Tara and Chris Imai of Gainesville, Ga.; mother, Clara Jane Kirk of Dalton; grandchildren, Ben, Sam and Annie Thomason, Aidan Nelson and Devin Imai and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at the Grove Level Baptist Church in Dalton, Ga., with the Dr. Charlie Bridges and the Rev. Jack Self officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association – Ga. Chapter 855 Abutment Road, Suite 6, Dalton, Ga. 30721. Rhodie D. Childress
LITTLE RIVER – Mr. Rhodie D. Childress, 82, of Little River, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 in Bay Minette. He was an Aircraft Quality Inspector, born in Moyeville, on July 13, 1923 to the late Allen and Cora Burgess Childress.
Survivors are: his wife, Gertrude S. Childress of Little River; one son, Stan Childress of Byron, Ga; two daughters, Cynthia Huggins of YuzHno, Sakhalinsk, Russia Rhonda Cox of Little River; one brother, John Childress of Atmore; two sisters, Doris Purvis and Merle Allen both of Atmore; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005 at 10 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore. Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of all arrangements.

ATMORE – Ms. Ruby Kelly, 49 of Atmore died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 at Atmore Community Hospital.
