Holiday mishaps can be prevented
For many Atmore residents, decorating the Christmas tree is a favorite part of the holiday.
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, it's time to either go cut a fresh Christmas tree down or take the artificial tree out of the box and decorate in anticipation of Santa's arrival. The National Safety Council offers some safety tips to make sure a mishap doesn't spoil your holiday season.
