Lillie Mae Mosley
BAY MINETTE – Mrs. Lillie Mae Mosley, 81, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006 in Bay Minette.
Mrs. Mosley was a native of Barnett Crossroads and a resident of Perdido since 1948. She was a lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary DAV and attended the Fretwell Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Jack Mosley of Perdido; two sons, David Mosley of Perdido, and Bennie and Martha Jean Mosley of Pine Grove; four step-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; her brother, Ligey Lee Lister of Robinsonville; and three sisters, Bertie Blair of Robinsonville, Gladys Burch of Deer Range and Maybell Lister of Perdido.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 7,2006 at 11 a.m. at the Fretwell Tabernacle with Sister Helen Stewart and Rev. Ray Blackmon officiating. Burial followed at Lottie New Home Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Petty Funeral Homes, LLC. was in charge of all arrangements.
Charles Polk
ATMORE – Mr. Charles Polk, 68, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006 in Lakeland, Fla.
Mr. Polk was a native of Jay, Fla. and a resident of Atmore since 1979. He attended the Baptist Church.
His parents, Brooks and Isabel Polk, preceded him in death. Survivors include: his son, Charles "Chuck" and Vicki Polk, Jr. of new Braunfels, Texas; two daughters, Stacey and Dwain January of Marion, Texas, and Debbie Polk of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Justin Mitchell, Alicia Polk, Brittany Polk, and Myles Warner; and two sisters, Betty Clark and Frances Paulson of Foley.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Poarch Community Church with Rev. Steve Cheramie officiating. Burial will follow at Judson Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held tonight, Feb. 8, 2006 between 6 and 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Petty Funeral Homes, LLC. is in charge of all arrangements.
James Dale
DAPHNE – Mr. James Dale of Daphne passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006 at North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette.
Mattie M. Jones
ATMORE – Mrs. Mattie M. Jones, 82, of Atmore passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 at Atmore Community Hospital.
