Marlow James
ATMORE – Mr. Marlow James, 86 of Atmore, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Atmore Community Hospital. Turner Funeral Chapel will announce services.
Shelby Rigby Mason
ATMORE – Mrs. Shelby Jean Rigby Mason, 64, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006 in Atmore.
Mrs. Mason was a native of Bratt, Fla., and a resident of Atmore since 1973. She was a devoted mother, a member of the Red Hat Society, the Grand Ole Dames Garden Club, attended the Baptist church, and graduated as Salutatorian from Ernest Ward High School in 1959.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Murray Blackmon, Joyce "Bit" Blackmon, W.D. "Jr" Blackmon, Leon Hanks, Luverne Hanks, Occie Rigby, Gladdis Rigby O'Farrell, Lois Rigby Brock, Vernie Rigby Liles, Mary Rigby Vaughn, and Jack Dempsey Rigby.
Survivors include: her son, John Alan and Jeanette Mason of Katy, Texas; her daughter, Sandra Kay and Danny Nall of Goodway; three grandchildren, Haley Nall, Corey Nall, and Brad Mason; her brother, Preston Blackmon of Houston, Texas; and two sisters, Estelle Lyles of Walnut Hill, Fla., and Ethel Gibbs of Daphne.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. James Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Canoe Freewill Cemetery.
