Cardinals outduel Warriors

Two four run innings to open the game led the Atmore Lions Club Cardinals to a 12-2 victory over the United Bank Warriors Thursday at Tom Byrne Park.
The Cards scored early and often as Nicholas Linam, Cole Boatwright, Will Swartzendruber and Darren McGhee scored in the first inning and Linam, Boatwright, Swartzendruber and Jordan Sasser scored in the second inning.
Boatwright and Sasser each added one more run scored and Tanner Boatwright and David Landis each contributed one run. Linam, Sasser and McGhee all threw from the mound in the game.
Demetric Henderson and Brandon Metzler each scored one run and Paul Arnold threw a complete game on the mound for the Warriors.
Atmore Rotary Club Tigers 10 – Joey's Furniture Red Sox 2
The Tigers scored all 10 of their runs on Thursday in the fourth and fifth innings to overcome an early 2-0 deficit.
Colby Smith and Clayton Vickry crossed the plate in the first inning, but the Red Sox were not able to plate any more runners. Tanner Smith, Chance Jackson, Colby Smith, Casey Jackson, Logan Smith and Clayton Vickrey all saw time on the mound.
Tacorian Brown and Dustin Wilson each scored two runs in the game. James Dean, Colby White, Nolan McAnally, Bo Ramer, Bryant Lane and Judd Arnold each added one run scored. James Dean pitched a complete game on the mound.
Atmore Rotary Club Tigers 9 – United Bank Warriors 3
On May 23 James Dean scored three runs for the Tigers, Tycorian Brown scored two runs and Dustin Wilson, Jaylen Henry, Blake Quimby and Nolan McAnally contributed one run scored. Tristan McAnally and Wilson both threw three innings.
All three of the Warriors runs were scored in the first inning as Brett Helton, Demetric Henderson and Brandon Metzler crossed the plate. Henderson and Paul Arnold threw from the mound for the Warriors.
First National Bank &Trust 12 – Atmore VFW Rangers 3
Brian Rolin, Thomas Moore, Ty Randolph and Tanner Kirk each scored in the first inning to jump out in front of the Rangers 4-0 May 23. Randolph added another run and David Johnson and Thichear Gilies contributed one run apiece. D.J. Carter and Domonique Hubert each scored two runs in the game. Moore and Randolph each threw three innings on the mound.
Tywon Dixon, Kyler McGlotheren and Harold Harrison crossed the plate for the Rangers and Bo Bishop, Harrison and Kyler McGhee saw action on the mound.
First National Bank &Trust Athletics 7 – Atmore Rotary Club Tigers 6
The Athletics took down the previously undefeated Tigers May 16 in the final inning.
Domonique Hubert knocked in Ty Randolph for the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Randolph scored another run earlier in the game and Thomas Moore, Brian Rolin, Hubert, Fred Knight and Trey McGhee each added one run scored. Tanner Kirk pitched a complete game for the A's.
Jaylen Henry, Dustin Wilson, James Dean, Tacorian Brown, Blake Quimby and Nolan McAnally each scored one run for the Tigers in the loss. Dean threw a complete game.
