Huddle House snaps streak

In the opening game of Atmore Babe Ruth League action Monday night Huddle House handed Greenlawn Pharmacy its first loss of the season to the tune of 12-1.
Tyler Brown fueled the victory for Huddle House with a strong outing on the mound.
Brown threw a complete game and recorded seven strikeouts. He also scored four runs on the evening with a 2-for-4 showing at the plate.
Lawrence Thomas scored three runs for Huddle House, Eric Coley contributed two runs scored and Blake Kirk, Maurice White and Reginald Yelder each scored one run in the game.
Jamorris Curry scored Greenlawn's only run and Cody Vickrey, Haden McGill and Christian Swartzendruber each saw action on the mound.
Poarch Creek Indians 9 – Pepsi 0
The Poarch Creek Indians broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning with a five-run inning. Jon Dean, Mitchell Rolin, Dalton Jackson, Rocky Rameri and Blake Moye each crossed the plate in the fourth.
Dean, Jackson, Nico Johnson and Stephen Yoder added to the lead in the fifth inning with one run scored apiece.
Jacob Rackard threw a complete game one-hitter for Poarch.
Ryan Lambert got the only hit of the game for Pepsi in the third inning.

United Bank Warriors 6 – First National Bank &Trust Athletics 5
The second through the fifth innings saw at least one run scored by the Warriors and the A's did all their damage in the third and fourth innings, scoring two in the third and three in the fourth June 9.
Brett Helton, Paul Arnold, Brandon Metzler, Wesley Jefferson, Brodie Amos and Demetric Henderson each scored one run for the Warriors.
Malcolm Black, Domonique Hubert, Tanner Kirk, Brian Rolin and Blake Presley each scored a run for the Athletics.
Atmore Rotary Club Tigers 10 – Atmore VFW Rangers 0
The Tigers scored four runs in the first inning to jump out in front of the Rangers June 9. The pitching staff for the Tigers struck out 14 of the 17 batters they faced en route to victory, including striking out the side in three of the five innings played.
Dustin Wilson scored three runs, James Dean and Judd Arnold scored two runs and Tacorian Brown, Tristan McAnally and Jaylen Henry scored one run apiece for the Tigers.
Brett McCraney doubled in the second inning to give the Rangers their only hit.

Kirk Insurance Agency Tigers 11 – Chuck Stevens Automotive Cubs 3
John Patrick Sawyer led the Tiger charge June 9 against the Cubs as he scored three runs. Tristan Brown, Clay Walker and Malik McMillan each crossed the plate twice and Nate Smith and Houston Westbrooks scored once for the Tigers.
Cameron Macks, Scott Brantley and Cole Jordan each scored one run for the Cubs.
Jerry's Alignment Center Braves 6 – Ziebach &Webb Timber Company Yankees 3
The Braves were trailing 3-0 entering the fourth inning June 9. They took a 4-3 lead with a four-run fourth inning. They scored another two runs in the fifth to extend the lead to 6-3.
Hunter Sherause scored two runs and Arri Torres, Marcus Brooks, Austin Hadley and Jadarius Brown each crossed the plate once for the Braves.
Bradley Geck, Joseph Ferrell and Drake Hamilton each scored one run for the Yankees.
