Flames burn Mustangs

The City of Atmore Utilities Flames came away from their final game of the season victorious over the Atmore Rotary Club Mustangs 7-5 June 15 in Atmore Babe Ruth Fast Pitch Softball League 13-16 year olds division action.
Crystal Rolin and Latesha Lee each scored two runs in the win for the Flames and Lydia Rolin, Katie Mothershed and Minika Smith each added one run scored.
Cassie Forbes, Audra Forbers, Michaela Norman, Courtney English and Kelli Boyington each scored one run for the Mustangs.
City of Atmore Utilities Flames 10 – Pepsi Challengers 5
The Flames rode a good night by Latesha Lee to the victory June 13. Lee scored three runs. Crystal Rolin, Brooke Bell and Kaysie Malone each scored two runs and Anjaneice Martin and Lameika Baldwin scored once each.
Raven Culliver scored two runs for the Challengers and Andrea Jackson, Tieka North and Cierra Sanders scored one run each.
10-12 year olds
Johnson Ford Rangers 13 – Masland Carpet Rug Rats 11
Kendra Beachy scored four runs June 15 as the Rangers took down the Rug Rats. Chelsey Ramer scored three runs, Skyla Ryals and Breann Rolin crossed the plate twice and Shelly Mothershed and Shyla Godwin each scored one run.
The Rug Rats' Paige Allen, Amber Huskey, Niki Bryan and Courtney Cross scored two runs apiece and Niki Everette, Makeria Williams and Ebony Bowman each crossed the plate once.
Masland Carpet Rug Rats 19 – SAV Sluggers 3
Paige Allen, Niki Everette and Courtney Cross each scored three runs in the Rug Rats victory June 13.
Amber Huskey, Niki Bryan, Victoria Todd and Alanna Johnson each crossed the plate twice for the Rug Rats and Makeria Williams and Brittly Powell each contributed one run scored.
Lacie Flowers, Ysuna Staples and Rachel Hudson each scored one run for the Sluggers.
Johnson Ford Rangers 11 – United Bank Silver Eagles 10
In this barn burner the Rangers spread the runs over the entire game June 12 and Paige Allen, Chelsey Ramer and Jasmine Ireland each scored two runs. Breann Rolin, Kendra Beachy, Skyla Ryals, Allie Brooks and Shyla Godwin each crossed the plate once.
Taylor Helton scored three runs for the Silver Eagles, Sydney McGhee and Kelsey Plant scored two runs each and Brandalyn Homan, Caitlyn Bruley and Chrissy Gohagen crossed the plate once.
6-9 year olds
First National Bank &Trust Magnolias 9 – Hendrix Tractor Balers 9
The Magnolias and the Balers were all knotted up at nine when time was called. Jordan Nelson, Y-Netta Craft and Kristen Byrd each scored two runs and Audrey Byrd, Claire Ahern and Annah Nichols crossed the plate once for the Magnolias June 15.
Hannah Chandler scored two runs for the Balers and Mikayla Spruill, Madyson McGlothren, Grayson Emmons, Lauren Stacey and Mariah Albritton each contributed one run scored for the Balers.
Angela &Co. Nailers 12 – First National Bank &Trust Magnolias 8
Victoria Sawyer, Taylor Hill, Carmesha Crenshaw and Anna Catherine Sasser each scored two runs for the Nailers June 13 and Allison Woods and Peyton Snider crossed the plate once.
Claire Ahern scored two runs for the Magnolias and Audrey Byrd, Y-Netta Craft, Kristen Byrd, Madison Matthews and Penny Banda scored one run each.
