Annie Corelia Thomley McGill
PERDIDO – Mrs. Annie Corelia Thomley McGill, age 89, of Perdido died on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1916 to Robert and Eveline Thomley. Mrs. McGill was a member of the Pleasant Plains Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Her husband, Hilary H. McGill and a sister, Sallie Presley, preceded her in death. Survivors include, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Plains Pentecostal Holiness Church with Sister Thursia Long and Bro. Angelo Thomley and Bro. James Peacock officiating. Burial followed at the Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 24, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Aline C. Moye
ROBINSONVILLE – Aline C. Moye, age 87, died July 21, 2006 at her residence in Robinsonville. Her husband, George W. Moye and one sister Luverne Hadley preceded Mrs. Moye in death.
Survivors include, two daughters: Ruthie J. Smith and husband Gladden Smith of Robinsonville, Robin and husband Roger Parker of Robinsonville; one sister, Ruth Johnson, seven grandchildren, Michael G. Smith, Jimmy Roy Smith, George Kenneth Smith, Cherry and Steve Tuberville, Crystal Y. Parker, Cynthia Lynn Parker and Jeremy L. Parker; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Earl Greene officiating.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the service time. Burial followed in the Sardis Cemetery.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Timothy Wayne "Bo" Johnson
CANOE – Mr. Timothy Wayne "Bo" Johnson, 38, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2006 at a local hospital.
Mr. Johnson was a native of Century, Fla., a former resident of Flomaton, and a resident of Canoe for the past two and a half years, attended the Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Justin Wayne Johnson and his father, Thadis Wayne Johnson.
Survivors include: his wife, Dina Johnson of Canoe; his mother Della Johnson of Flomaton; his son, Dylan Joseph Johnson of Atmore; five daughters, Sherry Jo Williams and Samantha Lynn Gates, both of Atmore, Lauren Nicole Anthony, Ashley Danielle Anthony and Tiffani Daniece Anthony, all of Castleberry; his granddaughter, Takiyah Riley of Atmore; five sisters, Debbie Boutwell, Tammy Hadley and Toni "Tootsie" Green, all of Flomaton, Sandy Stewart of Rabun and Diane Burkett of Atmore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Moyeville Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 25, 2006 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Burkett, Scotty Burkett, Dempsey Hadley, Dwayne Stewart, Christopher Stewart and Billy Gates. Alternate pallbearers will be Terry Lambeth and Ralph Lambeth.
Thelma Jenkins
ATMORE – Mrs. Thelma Jenkins, 89, passed away Monday, July 24, 2006 at a Mobile Hospital.
She was a native of Oak Hill and a resident of Atmore since 1945. She and her husband owned and operated Jenkins Supermarket for 19 years, and attended Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one and a half years, Lorie Jenkins and a brother, Arthur Parsons.
Survivors include: her daughter, Sherry Hetrick of Atmore; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Jewel Parsons of Montgomery and Joe Parsons of Atmore; two sisters, Ruby Lowe of Monroeville and Ada Mixon of Atmore; a special niece, Jean Sands of Atmore; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Grindle officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Garden Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2006 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Rick Hetrick, Steve Hetrick, Joey Hetrick, Jeff Hetrick, Stephen Hetrick, Justin Hetrick and Brandon Hetrick. Honorary pallbearers will be: Joe Sands, Gary Hare, Farrar Barnett, Lavon Caylor, Keith Hayles, Jack Sharpless and Tobb Sellers.
Jessie Kermie Hughes
MONROEVILLE- Mr. Jessie Kermie Hughes, age 90, of Monroeville died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Monroe County Hospital. He was a native of Monroe County and had lived there most of his life. He had worked for the county as a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of forty-three years: Betty Hughes of Monroeville; two daughters, Shelby Williamson of Orange Beach and Lois Thibodeaux of Gulf Shores; four grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend: Robert Lemons of Monroeville.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 24, 2006 from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Monroeville.
Funeral services began at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Ron McGhee officiating. Interment followed in Uriah Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
Lillian E. Mosley
ATMORE- Mrs. Lillian E. Mosley, 77, passed away Monday, July 24, 2006 at a local hospital.
She was a native of Bratt, Fla., and a resident of Atmore for the past 46 years. She attended the Atmore Baptist Temple and was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Ann Mosley, a son, Norman Allen Mosley, her parents, six brothers and a sister.
Survivors include: her husband of 58 years, Bill Mosley of Atmore; three sons, Donald Ray and Sue Carol Mosley of Auburn; Ronald Ray And Faye Mosley of Atmore, and Freddie Wayne Mosley of Atmore; four daughters, Martha Estelle Mosley of Atmore, Laura Edra Ikner of Atmore, Linda Charlotte and Wayne Kirchharr of Bay Minette and Nora Jean and Pete Weaver of Bay Minette; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-great grandchildren; and a brother, James Thomas "Morris" Luker of Atmore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. C. L. Langford and Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 25, 2006 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Warren Mosley, Terry Mosley, Norman Hadley, Rodney Kirchharr, Christopher Rogers and Scott Barnhart.

Tonya Paige Parr
BRATT, FLA. – Ms. Tonya Paige Parr, 35, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at a Pensacola hospital.
Ms. Parr was a native of Cape Canaveral, Fla., a former resident of Birmingham, a resident of Bratt, Fla. for the past five months and attended the Protestant Church.
Survivors include, her mother and stepfather, Carol and Paul Walston of Bratt, Fla; two sons, Loren Cade Parr of Atlanta, Ga. and Zachary Allan Cash of Birmingham; her grandmother, Dorothy Marie Collins of Thorsby; a stepbrother, Allen Walston of Atmore; a stepsister, Deborah and David Arrington of Flomaton; her brother, Tadd Drew and Kendra Corder of McDavid, Fla.; three nieces, Trinity Ann Marie Corder and Bethany Eve Corder, both of McDavid, Fla., and Madison Arrington of Flomaton and two nephews, Austin Arrington of Flomaton and Logan Walston of Flomaton.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Minister Billy Randolph officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Scott Slay, Lance Blackburn, Luke Manning, Terry Byars, Michael Byars and Tadd Corder.
