ECHS Class of '76 meet &greet
The Class of 1976 will hold a meet and greet at David's Catfish from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Oct. 20.
Hors'derves and drinks will be available.
Hosts will be Mal McGhee, Ann Stevens, Glenn Carlee and Rob Faircloth.
The ECHS homecoming pep rally will be held at 2:30 p.m. and kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Huxford Elementary carnival Thursday
Huxford Elementary School will hold its "Old Time Fall Carnival" from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m on Thursday at the school.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, Oct. 2 and are five for $1. Tickets will be four for $1 after 10 a.m. the day of the carnival.
Grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza popcorn, nachos and cheese, cotton candy and candied apples will be available for purchase. Games include a cake walk, Pepsi toss, dunking booth and much more. There will also be hay rides and a country store.
Calvary Deliverance homecoming Oct. 8
Calvary Deliverance Temple invites you to join us at our annual homecoming on Oct. 8, 2006. The Rev. William Missledine will be bringing the morning service.
The Glory Land Singers will be appearing plus others. Come share the love at homecoming by hearing the word of God preached followed with good homecooking, then stay and be blessed with Gospel singing!
Bless the Animals Sunday at 4 p.m.
Trinity Episcopal Church in Atmore will celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals at 4 p.m. this Sunday.
The brief celebration will be conducted in the pet cemetery adjacent to Atmore Animal Clinic, located on the corner of Nashville and Fourth Avenues.
The Rev. Sandra Mayer will administer blessings to all God's creatures, great and small. Reverend Mayer welcomes pets and pet owners of all denominations. Individuals and families who have family pets buried in the pet cemetery are welcome.
Lassiter and Wall reunion Saturday
The Lassiter and Wall reunion will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Oct. 7 at the Poarch Band of Creek Indians' Tribal Auditorium.
Faith Tabernacle revival Saturday
Faith Tabernacle Holiness Church revival begins Saturday and lasts through Oct. 13, 2006 at 7:30pm nightly. Evangelist for the week will be Eva Hines of Mobile.
