Dear Editor,
It is another day to thank Atmore businesses. The Atmore schools and their PTO's have completed the seventh year of Bus Driver Appreciation Day. The positive response creates a special time for our bus drivers.
This school year has been a rocky road to travel. It is fortunate that our students did arrive safe to and from school. Twice a day the bus driver repeats a perfect job. There is no room for error. We must respect the school bus on sight. A smile or nod is the best attitude as our school buses stop and go. Our children depend on the driving skills of the Atmore area, too.
The Atmore schools would like to acknowledge the following:
First National Bank &Trust, Jim Johnson Ford, The Tot Shop, Tammi Cuttin Loose, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Nichols &Cobb; CPA, Shannon's , Southern Pine Electric, David's Catfish\, B&T Barbeque, Brantley Tires, Diamond Gas Stations, Kelly's Ambulance, United Bank, Chuck Stevens Chevrolet, Brent Whitaker, Barnett &Associates; Xerox, Rolin's Tire Service, Pepsi-Cola Bottling, Region's Bank, Edgar's Business Machines, Greenlawn Pharmacy, Southern Family Markets and Friends of the Community
