Kelsey Corderll "K-Bo" Bowens
LAKELAND, Ga. – Mr. Kelsey Corderll "K-BO" Bowens, 18, of Lakeland, Ga., formerly of Atmore, died Friday, May 25, 2007 in an automobile accident near Quincy, Fla.
He was a native of Atmore and had attended school in Escambia County. He was employed as an ammunition manufacturer.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Ethel Bowens and Ruth West.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Bowens-West and step-father, Anthony West, both of Lakeland, Ga.; two sisters, LaTisha Dailey and La Keisha Dale, both of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Desmond Sely, DeMario Bowens, and Kenneth Bowens, all of Atlanta, Ga.
Public viewing will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atmore with the Rev. Willie A. Roberson of Georgia. officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Shiloh Church Cemetery in Nokomis. His body will lie instate at the church one hour prior to funeral services with Turner Funeral Chapel of Atmore directing.
Marcus Earl Coleman
BREWTON – Mr. Marcus Earl Coleman, 45, a resident of Brewton, was born April 30, 1962 to the union of Walter E. and Annie L. Coleman in Brewton. He accepted Christ early in life, and was baptized at Baptist Hill Baptist Church in Brewton. He attended Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Brewton.
His family moved to Chicago, Ill. where he graduated from Thromton Ridge High School in Harvey, Ill. in 1980. After graduating from high school, he furthered his education at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill. He received a scholarship with the ROTC, and after graduation he was commissioned to 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. After leaving the military, Marcus worked as an engineer. He was currently employed with A. E. New Jr. Builders and Constructors of Pensacola, Fla.
He was united in holy matrimony to Chiquita Lewis on Dec. 19, 1992.
Mr. Marcus Earl Coleman exchanged this life for eternity on Sunday, May 27, 2007.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Chiquita; one daughter, Anna Shay of Chicago, Ill; four sons, Marcus Duran, Donald Dustin, of Chicago, Kameron Earl and Mac Henry Earl of Brewton; one grandson, Donald Dalor of Chicago; mother, Annie Paul of Richardson, Texas; father, Walter (Misty) Coleman of Brewton; one sister, Candance S. Coleman of Duluth, Ga.; one brother, Derrick Jones of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandmothers, Eula Mae Powell of Brewton and Leouise Paul of Houston, Texas; mother-in-law, Wildlean Carroll of Tampa, Fla.; father-in-law, Michael (Evonne) Lewis of Chicago; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Zion Fountain AME Zion Church in Brewton with the Rev. H.K. Matthews, Pastor, and the Rev. Daniel Dozier, officiating.
Interment will follow in Baptist Hill Cemetery in Brewton.
Pallbearers and flower bearers will be relatives and friends.
Christian Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Minnie Lou Power Frye
ATMORE – Elder Minnie Lou Power Frye of Atmore died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in Detroit, Mich. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at St. Paul A.F.M. Church of God. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Deliverance Ministry of Jesus Christ. Burial will be in Stallworth Cemetery.
Christian Memorial Funeral Home of Atmore is in charge of arrangements.
Sara Lisenby Muelling
AUBURN – Funeral services for Sara Lisenby Muelling, 80, of Auburn are Sunday, June 3, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Auburn United Methodist Church Founder's Chapel. Burial is in Town Creek Cemetery. Dr. George Mathison and the Rev. Nick Holler are officiating. Visitation is Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church. Ms. Muelling went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. She was born Oct. 21, 1926 in New Orleans, La., the daughter of Dr. James Ottis and Elizabeth Lisenby. She has spent much of her life volunteering and helping others. She was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church and the AUMC Babe McGehee Sunday School Class.
Ms. Muelling is survived by children: Anna Muelling (Steve MacKay) of Los Altos, Calif., Sara Louise Muelling of Auburn, and Cleone (Butch) Brock of Auburn; sister, Betty Lisenby Durand of Lemmon, S.D.; and grandchildren, Allie MacKay of Portland, Ore., Andy MacKay of Los Altos, Calif., and Amelia Brock of Auburn.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Mercy Ministry AUMC, P.O. Box 3135, Auburn, Ala. 36831, or Cindy;s Library EAMC Foundation, 2000 Pepperell Parkway, Opelika, Ala. 36801.

ATMORE – Mr. Robert Stephens Sr., of Atmore passed away on May 28, 2007 at his residence.
Services are to be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel.

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Mrs. Reavie Watson, 88, of Columbus, Ga., formerly of Flomaton died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga.
