Longtime business owner Merrill Still passed away Friday afternoon after being hospitalized for several weeks in Pensacola, Fla.
Late Saturday afternoon family announced funeral arrangements. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 at McCullough Christian Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at McCullough Christian Center. Burial will follow at Judson Cemetery.
Still and his wife, Pat, have owned Atmore Ambulance and Atmore Appliance, formerly Western Auto, for more than 30 years. Friends, employees and family gathered at Atmore Appliance Friday evening mourning Still's death and recollecting times spent with the beloved business owner.
