According to family members of Atmore councilman John Watkins, who passed Thursday evening in Atmore, services were finalized Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Gaines Chapel AME Church. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 at Fairview Cemetery.
In Sunday's Atmore Advance, Watkins' burial time was reported as being tentatively at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Family made the decision to change the time earlier this weekend.
