Blue Flames, Eagles win, improve to 4-1

The Blue Flames (4-1) simply out hit the Shockers (1-3-1) on April 10 to claim a 17-8 victory in Atmore T-ball action and improved to 4-1 on the season.
Tyler Rolin, James Lewis, Chance James, Evan Tatum and Louie Turner ignited the Blue Flames’ offense each finishing 3-for-3 at the plate. Rolin, Lewis, James and Tatum scored three times, while Turner crossed the plate twice.
Michael Stokes and Randall Bonds also had good days at the dish chipping in with two hits each.
Jeffery Wilson, Jaylen Black and Aldric Johnson paced the Shockers with two hits and one run scored each.
Jacobey Johnson, Kenny Craft and Austin Walker each finished the day with one hit and a run scored. Dijon Crenshaw chipped in with one hit.
The Flames out scored the Shockers 6-2, 5-2, 6-4 in three innings.

Scramblers 8
The Eagles (4-1) escaped their second loss of the season with a narrow 10-8 win over the Scramblers (4-2) April 10 in Atmore T-ball play.
Five players finished perfect at the plate for the Eagles. Jared Gibbs and Sara Rolin both finished 3-for-3 with two runs scored and Kuron Frye, Alyssa Lambert and Craig Brown Jr. all three went 2-for-2 offensively. Frye and Lambert scored two runs and Brown scored once.
Ja’Bryce Hooks chipped in with two hits and one run and Brandon Gulsby added two hits.
Edward Williams, Chase Bell, Jeff Edward and Jackson Bonner each finished the game with two hits for the Scramblers. Williams and Bell both scored two runs and Edward scored once.
Bubba McGowan and Ann Margaret Boothe each added one hit and one run. Tyson Knight ended the game with one hit.
