ATMORE – Elma Lee Bradberry, 76, of Atmore formally of Walnut Hill, Fla. died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 in Atmore.
She was employed with Ernest Ward School in the Food Services, born in Escambia County, Fla. on Dec. 11, 1931 to the late Larkin and Viola Byrd Stewart. She was a member of the Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
Her husband of 41 years, Harvey C. Bradberry Sr., preceded her in death.
Survivors include, one son, Harvey C. Bradberry Jr. and wife, Susan of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one daughter, Sheila Donaldson and husband Gary of Atmore; four grandchildren, Shawn Bradberry of Milton, Fla.; Kristy Blackwell and husband Chris of Flomaton; Michael Donaldson and wife Beth of Daphne and Steven Donaldson and wife, Natalie of Atmore and three great grandchildren, Riley Blackwell, Bailey Blackwell and Paisley Donaldson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Chapel with Bro. Roy Chewing officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends today from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Ted Bridges, Curtis Amerson, Billy Ward, Brett Ward, Edward Godwin and Carl Deckard. The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice of Alabama for all the loving care shown to them during their mother's illness.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. will be in charge of all arrangements.
