CANTONMENT, Fla. - Grady “Bunny” Smith, 75, of Cantonment, Fla. passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008.
Mr. Smith was born on May 14, 1933 in Wallace. He loved to travel and was an avid fisherman.
His parents, Rufus J. and Versie S. Smith; three sisters, Kay Smith, Myrtice Watson and Myrtle Faye Smith and a brother, Clifford Smith, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Smith; a son, Ken Smith; a daughter, Allison Eisinga (Hank); three grandchildren, Jonathon Kennedy and Daniel and Jackie Eisinga; a brother, Kenneth Smith (Georganna); a sister, Diana Burns (Chester) and a sister-in-law, Margaret Smith.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 at Oak Hill cemetery in Atmore with the Rev. David Smith officiating. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Faith Chapel Home North in Cantonment on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008.
The family has requested that memorials can be made in Mr. Smith's name to the Waterfront Rescue Mission.
