ATMORE – Virginia Donald Miller of Atmore passed away Nov. 29, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Her father, Elihue Donald, preceded her in death.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Pete Miller; her mother, Hannas Donald and brother Weldie (Loyce) of Atmore and a sister Lorraine (Bill) May of Dallas, Texas. She also leaves behind three daughters, Faith Moore-Baumann of Pensacola, Fla., Debbie (Randy) McKinley of Atmore and Lisa (Alan) Gunn of Atmore; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Grindle officiating.
Pallbearers were her grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Neil Baumann, Blaine Gregg, Devin King, Hunter McKinley, Chase Reeves and Heath Hadley.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mitchell Cancer Institute at the University of South Alabama, 307 N. University Blvd., TRP III Suite 2150, Mobile, AL 36688-0002.
Family received friends Monday, Dec. 1, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
