Fundraising for the United Fund of Atmore are in full swing and board members report more than half of the 2009 goal has been raised.
According to vice president Chad Bartz $44,095 of the $75,000 goal has been raised, but encourages support from the community.
Renee Hardy, second vice president, encourages support from large employers in Atmore by promoting payroll deduction, which she says is “down” some from recent years.
