Due to inclement weather in the Midwest, the turkeys that were to be delivered to Chuck Stevens Chevrolet Monday afternoon for needy families in Atmore will arrive at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at the dealership. Longtime boxing promoter Don King is donating the turkeys to Atmore as part of his annual “Christmas Turkey Tour.” Pepsi Cola of Atmore will be assisting Chuck Stevens in distributing the turkeys.
King donated 2.2 million pounds of Turkey to the five Gulf coast states so in hopes of feeding 2.2 million people.
