FOLEY - Andrew Hill McCullough Sr., 72, of Foley, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 in Louisville, Ky. He was a truck driver born in Atmore on Nov. 24, 1936 to the late Henry Fletcher and Bertie Bell Betterton McCullough.
Survivors include, his wife, Elizabeth Moss McCullough of Foley; one daughter, Andrea Bernice Geist of Milton, Fla.; two sons, Andrew Hill McCullough Jr. and wife, Geraldine of Jackson, Miss. and Fletcher Allan McCullough and wife, Shannon Leigh of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Frances Countryman and Martha Odell Brown and husband, Bruce all of Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Nicholas Alexander McCullough, Logan Thomason, Miya Geist, Savanna Arlene McCullough, Rachel Hagler, Terry DeSpain, Pricilla Maldorna, Georgia Geist and soon to be Taylor Elizabeth McCullough; his beloved pet, Penny “Oogie” McCullough; four great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Braylee, Jaylen Hollis and Kiara Maldorna.
He loved all children, but there were four he loved very much, Julia Brooke of Mobile and Cheyenne, William, Justin and Lilly White, all of Perdido; two step sisters, Nancy Howard of Atlanta, Ga. and Mary Farr of Milton, Fla.
Services will be held tomorrow, Jan. 15, 2009, at 1 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in McCullough cemetery. Active pallbearers will be, Andrew McCullough Jr., Steve Mahan, Dallas Wilson, Franklin Betterton, Jon Martin and Mike White. Honorary pallbearers will be, Fletcher McCullough, Marlin Mack, Raymond Countryman and Ronnie Countryman.
Family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, January, 14, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
