Continuing the 14-year tradition, senior Amber Holland was crowned Miss Northview High School in the school’s auditorium Saturday evening.
Thirty-two girls from all grade levels participated in the pageant, which judges the girls on physical fitness, poise and appearance and interviews held prior to the event.
The pageant benefits the cheerleaders and is organized by cheerleading sponsor Anna Barry.
Barry said this year’s event went very well and competition was close.
Barry also came up with this year’s hip-hop theme for the pageant, entitled “Don’t Stop the Music.”
Sophomores Sarah Killam and Katie Mann were crowned first and second runner up respectively.
