ATMORE - Mr. Rex Randall Helton II, 22, passed away Saturday, Jan 31, 2009 in Atmore.
Randall was a native and lifelong resident of Robinsonville. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a graduate from Nashville Auto/Diesel College in Nashville, Tenn. received Craftsman Award and attended the Robinsonville Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his mother, Michelle Tims Helton of Walnut Hill, Fla.; his father and stepmother, Rex and Patti Helton of Robinsonville; two brothers, Landon Helton and Will Owens, both of Robinsonville; two sisters, Morgan Elizabeth Helton of Atmore and Ferron Barrow-Bevins of Pensacola, Fla.; grandparents, Clyde and Gladys Helton of Ronbinsonville, Byron and Vernell Tims of Walnut Hill, Fla.; three uncles, Clay Helton of Robinsoville, Dale and Cathye Tims of Atmore and Clark and Debra Tims, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va. and special cousins, Clay Helton, Jr. of Robinsonville, Byron Dale Tims Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va. Susan Tims and Preston Godwin of Davisville, Fla., Carlie Tims and Marty Nelson of Pace, Fla., Stephen Tims, Kristen Tims, and Allison Tims, all of Robertsdale, Drew Ward of Pace, Fla. and Conner Tims of Robertsdale.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 4, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Davis and the Rev. Mike McMorris officiating. Burial will follow at Robinsonville cemetery. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, Clay “C.C.” Helton Jr., Buckie Dawson, Brian Strawbridge, Bo Giddons, Chris Moore, Steven Shirley, Justin Emmons, Jamie Young, Will Owens, Josh Lee Brown and Oliver Petty.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Robinsonville cemetery fund or to the charity of your choice.
