WAWBEEK - Mr. Junior Morris, 64, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2009 in Wawbeek.
Junior was a native of Repton and a resident of Wawbeek since 1979. He rescued a wreck victim from a burning car, was an avid fisherman, hunter and horseman, loved racing and attended the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janie Ann Dickerson.
Survivors include, his wife, Betty Morris of Wawbeek; two sons, Todd Jefferson Morris of Wawbeek and Randall Oneil and Kaci Morris of Wawbeek; seven grandchildren; one step grandchild; a brother, James Morris of Wawbeek; two sisters, Lucille Conway of Flomaton and Luverne and Edmond Knowles of Flomaton and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Woody Allison officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Barren Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be, Danny Harrelson, Danny McCory, Perry Joe Buckhault, Jerry Lee Buckhault, James Buckhault and Benny Godwin.
