There are still people that care about our world and how it affects future generations.
The Atmore Area YMCA has been a part of this community since 1983, and it has grown over the years to become extremely involved and important in the community.
The YMCA offers several programs that have the capabilities to help mold the young people that are growing up in Atmore.
These programs help children develop a lot of skills and mold relationships with the employees as well as create friendships that could last a lifetime.
This city needs the YMCA to give people a place to go to improve themselves by staying healthy in body and mind.
The city needs to come together and help support this extremely important facet of the community.
The young people of Atmore will be better for it.
Next, it is good to see that there are still some good guys out there who enjoy seeing excitment on children’s faces when they take the field playing baseball.
Kyle Davis and Jason Barnett are doing a great thing by stepping back onto the diamond as umpires.
They both love the game and want future generations to have a good time playing baseball as well.
It is important to have people like this as umpires because they are passionate for the sport, and they care about the fairness of the game.
Lucky are the players that get these guys to call their games.
No one wants an ump who might swing the game in one direction or another to favor someone they might know or to get out a little earlier.
Davis and Barnett should get some praise and respect for taking time to be umps and helping kids love America’s past time.
So give them a pat on the back, and while you are at it think about how you could possibly help out the YMCA.
These are the good guys in this city. Do they not deserve to get a little something back in return for all they do?
