ATMORE - Jerry Donald Maddox, 59, of Atmore died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in Mobile.
He was a Truck Driver, born in Fayetteville on July 13, 1949 to Harvey and Erdel Pennington Maddox.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey R. Maddox.
Survivors are, his wife, Kathryn L. Maddox, two sons, Kenny R. Maddox and David A. Maddox, all of Atmore, two daughters, Karen Condrey and husband, Kenny of Flomaton and Michelle Wright and husband, Richard of Grand Bay; mother, Erdel McGhee of Atmore; two brothers, Larry R. Maddox and wife Linda of Excel and William A. Maddox and wife Debbie of South Eglin, Il.; two sisters, JoAnn Rawles of Atmore and Marilyn Bohn and husband, Mike of Sycamore, Il.; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ivy and Bro. Gilley officiating. Interment followed in Sardis cemetery with Military Honors. Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday April 3, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
