ATMORE - Mrs. Janie Miller Croley, 78, of Nathan Road in Atmore passed away Friday afternoon May 8, 2009 at a Mobile Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Croley was a native of Range and a former resident of Lakeland, Fla. before moving to Atmore 40 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are her husband of 36 years, Jack Croley Jr. of Atmore, two sons, Chuck Williams of Brewton and Doug Williams of Brewton, one daughter, Judy Watson of Brewton, two sisters Lilly Wells of Atmore and Shirley Kenny of Atmore; six grandchildren, Tammy Williams, Johnny Watson, Holly Williams, Zachary Williams, Steven Williams and Dustin Williams and eight great-grandchildren.
Her son, Ronald Williams and two grandchildren, Nichole Williams and Jason Williams preceded her in death. Visitation was held Monday May 11, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services were held Tuesday May, 12 2009 at 2 p.m. graveside at Flomaton Cemetery with the Rev. Alton Pugh officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
