WALNUT HILL, FLA. – Linda D. McBride, 50 of Walnut Hill, Fla. died Tuesday May 5, 2009 in Pensacola, Fla. She was a School Teacher, born in Modesto, Calif. on May 14, 1958 to the late Tony and Jessie Cootis Brillo. Survivors are her husband, Gerald D. McBride of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one son, Shawn McBride of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one daughter, Sandra L. McBride of Bay Minette; one brother, Michael Brillo of Whitefield, Okla.; one sister, Debra Thompson of Bay Minette; nine grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Services were held Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Bridges officiating. Interment followed in Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were, Glen Taylor, Jason Taylor, Jimmy Baisden, Michael Ladd, Michael Whatley and Carmon Brillo. Honorary pallbearer was EBI Ball.
Family received friends Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
