PCI Gold crushes Cardinals

Tyler Sells led PCI Gold in their 15-4 rout of the Atmore Vision Center Cardinals on Thursday night in Cal Ripken Minor League action.
PCI started the scoring in the first inning when Sells managed to make it around the base path.
The Cardinals answered back in the bottom of the first as Brandon Golsby and Jaquarious Williams scored to take a 2-1 lead after Williams’ home run. PCI took the lead back in the second inning with Trennon Hamilton and Brennon Rolin crossing the plate to make the score 3-2.
PCI jumped even further ahead in the third inning with Sells, Justin Henderson, Cameron Arementon, Wyatt Rutherford, Tyler Jackson, Hamilton, Rolin and Thunder Jackson all scoring to make the score 11-2.
PCI scored their final four runs in the fourth inning with Harrison, Tanner Jackson, Thunder Jackson and sells all scoring to make the score 15-2.
The Cardinals scored their last runs in the fifth inning with Golsby and Williams scoring.
Braves 9
White Sox 5
The Alto Product Braves beat the State Farm Insurance White Sox 9-5 during Thursday night’s Cal Ripken Minor League game.
Delarian Poole started the scoring for the Braves as reached base on a triple and was scored by L.J. Robinson’s single.
The Braves struck again in the fourth inning as Robinson, Fred Flavors, Antonio Crenshaw and Logan Stacey all crossed the plate to make the score 5-0. Flavors knocked in Robinson and himself with a two-run home run, while Crenshaw reached base on a triple and scored off of Stacey’s double.
The White Sox finally answered in the bottom of the fourth with Chase Bell, Kuron Frye, Ja’maya Frye and Sean Marshall all crossing the plate. Kuron Frye had the hit of the inning with a solo shot that earned a trip around the bases.
The Braves added four more runs in the fifth inning with Poole, Jared Gibbs, Robinson and Flavors all scoring runs to add to their lead.
The White Sox could only manage one run in the sixth inning with Kuron Frye scoring but it was not enough to overcome the Braves nine runs.
Tigers 8
PCI Gray 4
The Kirk Insurance Agency Tigers defeated the PCI Gray 8-4 on Tuesday night in Cal Ripken Minor League action at Tom Byrne Park.
PCI Gray struck first with Jeff Wilson scoring in the first inning, while the Tigers answered back in the bottom of the inning with Jackson Breckenridge and Adrian King crossing the plate to take the lead.
PCI answered back in the second inning to tie the game with Donnie Ellestead scoring.
The Tigers took over in the second inning with Jabe Dawe, Sam Smith and Tristan Kilpatrick all crossing the plate.
They continued to score in the third inning with Breckenridge and Eric McCaskill making it around the base path to increase their lead.
The Tigers scored their eighth and final run in the fourth inning with Bryant Quimby making it around the bases.
PCI Gray tried to come back but only scored two runs in the sixth inning with Hunter Finley and Devin Wall scoring runs.
Cardinals 12
White Sox 4
The Atmore Vision Center Cardinals crushed the State Farm Insurance White Sox 12-4 on Tuesday night at Tom Byrne Park.
The Cardinals started the scoring with three runs as Ethan Patacsil, Jabryce Hooks and Jaquerious Williams all crossed the plate.
They added to their run total in the third inning as Hooks, Brandon Golsby, Williams, Joshua Booker and Cole Wynn scored to increase their lead 8-0.
The White Sox finally got on the board in the fourth inning with Chase Bell, Kameron Bowen and Ja’maya Frye all scoring runs.
The Cardinals scored more runs in the fourth inning with Patacsil, Hooks and Shavaris Williams all scoring.
They added to that lead in the fifth inning with Jaquerious Williams scoring another run to put the dagger in further.
