ATMORE - Mrs. Lottie L. Caraway, 68, of Atmore died Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Atmore.
She was a seamstress, born in Atmore on Oct. 17, 1940 to the late William J. and Esther O. Ardis Salter.
Her husband, Calvin C. Caraway and one sister, Dorothy Caraway, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Jeffery Caraway and wife, Beverly, of Atmore; three daughters, Suzanna C. Bethea and husband, James and Suzanne Earle and husband, Wade, both of Atmore and Nancy Stacey and husband, John, of Lottie; a special friend, Daniel Zmuda of Atmore; three brothers, Charles Salter, William J. Salter Jr. and Dewayne Salter and wife, Linda, all of Atmore; four sisters, Dottie Boutwell Harrelson and husband, James, Mary Caraway and husband, Pete, Shirley White and husband, Larry, and Elizabeth Boutwell and husband, Joe, all of Atmore; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, July 13, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with the Rev. Bennie Stokes, officiating. Interment followed in McCullough Cemetery. Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
