ATMORE - Mr. Eulie Bryant, 88, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2009 at a Mobile Hospital.
Eulie was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore; he was a member and deacon of Pine Level Primitive Baptist Church. He was retired from Hauss State Nursery from 35 years of service.
His son, Lynn Bryant preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Audrey Bryant of Atmore; four sons, James Bryant (Carole) of Flomaton, Wayne Bryant (Ann) of Silver Springs, Fla., Tony Bryant (Linda) of Atmore and Jimmy Bryant (Vickie) of Russellville, Ark.; one daughter, Darlene Weaver (Phillip) of Mapolesville; three sisters, Voncille Lassitter of McCullough, Alma Stewart of Wade, Miss., Alene Wasdin of McCullough; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 at the Pine Level Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Kevin Fralick, Elder Gene Freeland and Elder Bobby Willis officiating. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Church cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons, Eric Bryant, Kevin Brooks, Matt Bomba, Christopher Bryant, John Bryant, Kevin Bryant, Brad Bryant, Scott Bryant and Adam Bryant.
