ATMORE – Tonya Lynn Vickery Melvin Jackson passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 at home.
She is a native and resident of Atmore, Alabama.
Tonya leaves one daughter, Brittany Gilbert; husband, Danny Jackson; parents, Earle and Rebecca Vickery; Lana and Rick Melvin; Mother-in-law, Wanda Sue Jackson; and grandmothers, Dorothy Moore and Jewel Melvin; and great grandmother, Lillian Jackson; brother, James Ledford, all of Atmore; sister, Mary (Ronnie) Mosely of Saraland; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Petty Funeral Home of Atmore will be in charge of services to be finalized for later this week. The Rev. Thurl Pearson will officiate with internment at New Hope Cemetery, Atmore, Alabama.
Pall bearers will be Josh Yeend, Matthew Mosely, Ronnie Mosely, Mike Jones, Jason Cox and Terry Overstreet.
