ATMORE - Mr. Gary Douglas Stoker, 52, of Atmore passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 in Pensacola.
He was born Oct. 30, 1956 in Newport, R.I. and had been a longtime resident of Atmore. He served in the U.S. Navy.
His mother, Marie Gates Stoker and a brother, William Stoker preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father, Roy Stoker of Atmore and a sister, Pat Murph of Atmore.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 in the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Interment followed in the McCullough Cemetery. Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Rogers, Chris Rogers, George Rogers, Ian Rogers, Nathan Swartz and Rick Gates.
