The Blue Devils (1-3, 1-2) have endured several injuries since fall practices have begun with some being small and others more severe.
After their most recent game against the Spanish Fort Toros the Blue Devils are hurting worse than ever.
Blue Devils junior quarterback Rico Stallworth suffered a concussion against the Toros and is currently day-to-day.
Blue Devils head coach Kyle Davis said Stallworth is going through light workouts this week.
In the chance that Stallworth is unable to play Friday night against Baldwin County, backup quarterback Derrick Williams will start.
Davis said Williams is getting the majority of the snaps this week in preparation for the game.
The Blue Devils could receive a boost to their roster Friday with the possible return of wide receiver Denard Stephens.
Stephens has been sidelined for the first four games due to an MCL sprain.
Davis said Stephens could see limited action this week before returning to full action next week.
Outside of Stallworth and Stephens, the Blue Devils are mostly trying to heal up any sore muscles and bones.
Davis said that all other Blue Devils are practicing at full speed with simple bumps and bruises.
The Blue Devils were already hurting due to lineman Brett Wilkins broken leg.
