SEMMES - Dorothy Digmon Cooper LeRoy, 73, of Semmes. Formerly of Atmore died Sunday Sept. 27, 2009 at her residence.
She was a Registered Nurse, born in Atmore on May 17, 1936 to the late James Floyd and Maude Pearl Bowman Digmon.
Her parents; husbands; two brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Lester Floyd Cooper of Semmes; two daughters, Debbie Cooper Koschalk Bowling and husband Joe of Semmes and Tina Cooper Young and husband, Guy of Atlanta; one brother, Paul Ray Digmon and wife, LaVerne of Atmore; one sister, Eulah White and husband, Tommy of Bay Minette; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gladyn Mothershed officiating. Interment followed in Serenity Gardens. Family received friends from 1 p.m. until the service time Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
