Lady Cougars fall to ACS

The Lady Cougars of Canoe were beaten by the Atmore Christian School Lady Rams Tuesday.
The Lady Cougars defeated the Lady Rams three games to two winning games two, four and five. Escambia Academy won game two 27-25, game four 25-11 and game five 15-11.
Atmore Christian School won game one 25-20 and game three 25-21.
Leading the way for the Lady Cougars was senior Jordan Jaye who had 16 kills, five aces, four blocks and one kill.
Juniors Amber Huskey and Tori Rodriguez supported Jaye with Huskey scoring eight kills and three aces. Rodriguez recored three aces, three kills and one dig in the loss.
Grayson Emmons led the Lady Cougars in assists with 13 and also recorded one ace and one kill.
Also recording stats for the Lady Cougars were Peyton Snider with two aces and two kills; Lacie Flowers with one ace and one kill; Brooke McGhee with one ace and Taylor Helton with one kill.
The Lady Cougars next game is at home against Autauga Academy at 3 p.m.
