A house fire on Presley Street Saturday had the Atmore Fire Department busy for the second time in six months.
A fire call was made to the department around noon Saturday requiring their response to 1129 S. Presley St. Atmore Fire Chief Gerry McGhee said the cause of the blaze is not known, but arson is suspected.
McGhee said six firemen responded to the blaze taking four trucks to the scene.
McGhee said this is not the first time firefighters have responded to a blaze at the Presley Street home.
Although additional firefighters were not needed on Saturday, the Poarch
Creek Fire Department was on standby, McGhee said.
