Snow began falling at a steady pace early Friday morning and is expected to continue until early afternoon.
There were some reports of minor traffic accidents from icy roadways.

County Closings
With road conditions expected to deteriorate, First National Bank &Trust has announced that it will close at noon today with normal drive thru hours resuming on Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at the south and north branch locations.
Also, Gulf Wind Federal Credit Union branches in Atmore and Brewton are closed today and will reopen with normal Saturday drive-thru hours, weather permitting.
Public schools in both Escambia County Alabama and Florida are also closed today due to the weather. According to Escambia County (Ala.) Superintendent Billy Hines, schools in the county will make up the day on Monday on President's Day.
Escambia Academy is also closed, and headmaster Betty Warren said the school would also remain closed on President's Day.
The Escambia County (Ala.) Courthouse and other County offices are also closed and will reopen as scheduled on Monday, Feb. 15.
