ATMORE - Doris Lee Colbert, 86, of Atmore died Sunday, March 28, 2010 in Atmore.
She was a homemaker, born in Escambia County on Nov. 25, 1923 to the late Randal and Agnes Presley Colbert. She was also a member of Gospel Light Church.
Two daughters, Mary Davis and Barbara Hadley; two sisters, Ora Lee Mattson and Ann Bos and two brothers, Edward Colbert and W.V. Colbert, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Colbert of Bay Minette; one brother, Houston Colbert of Morgan City, La.; one sister, Dottie Padgett of Atmore; three grandchildren, Kevin Davis, Cotrena Andrews and Kelly Hadley and four great grandchildren, Darrick Davis, Mary Davis, Ethan Powell and Travis Andrews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today, March 31, 2010 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Rolin officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Uriah.
Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
