ATMORE – Dottie Colbert Padgett, 76, of Atmore died Friday, May 28, 2010 in Mobile.

She was an O.R. Director of Atmore Community Hospital, born in Escambia County on June 9, 1933 to the late Randal and Leslie Colbert.

Three sisters, Ora Mattson, Annie Lee Bos and Doris Colbert and two brothers, W.V. Colbert and Edward Colbert, preceded her in death.

Survivors are her husband, John K. Padgett of Atmore; two daughters, Tracy McGhee and husband, Kent, of Atmore and Kelly Roberts and husband, Lin, of Troy; one brother, Houston Colbert of Morgan City, La.; three grandchildren, Meredith McGhee, Trip Roberts and Coleby Roberts.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 from First Baptist Church of Atmore with the Rev. Arnold Hendrix and the Rev. Dan W. Padgett officiating. Interment followed in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Uriah.

Active pallbearers were John Wyrosdisk, Curley Davis, Bo Colbert, Anthony Deagle, Lucas Andrews and Alan Colbert.

Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
