ATMORE – Ida Pearl Mitchell Willis (Gross) “Ma’Deah” who loved us all unconditionally died at her home Sunday, June 12, 2010 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Her husbands, Leroy Willis Sr. and James Carl Mitchell Sr.; a daughter, Evelyn; a son, Don Larry; grandsons, Troy and Jay; son-in-laws, Eddie Rhodes Sr. and Larry Hudson and stepchildren, Mary C., Annie, John, Carter Sr., Joseph and Donald, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her siblings, Martha, Annie, Dorothy and Willie S.; children, Mary, Henry, Annie Pearl, Leroy Jr., Willie Ray, Letha Faye and Malcolm Charles; stepchildren, Barbara, Mary Alice, Linda Faye, Deborah and Gloria; nephew, Emmet Gross; niece, LoRetha Wiggins; Atmore cousins, Enga, Lorna and Bobby; family friend, Johnny “BooBoo” George; a host of grandchildren; eldest grandchildren, Sandra, Arnlisha, Eddie Jr., Tanya, Joshua, Brandy, Nethdra and Wanna; great grandchildren and many more cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today, June 19, 2010 at Mayberry Funeral Home.

Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010.
