Frances Weeks

ATMORE – Frances Weeks, 71, of Atmore died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at her residence. She was a seamstress with Vanity Fair Mills, born in Flomaton, on Jan. 1, 1939 to the late Burl and Susie Louise Brock Weeks.

Survivors include, three sons, Eddie Ledkins and Gene Michael and wife, Dana Ledkins, all of Perdido and Darrell and wife, Anissa Ledkins, of Lottie; two daughters, Cindy Couch and husband, Greg, of Loganville, Ga. and Cathy Booker and husband, Will, of Benton, Ark.; two brothers, Robert Weeks of Grand Bay and Bobby Weeks of Chunchula; four sisters, Glenda Godwin of McDavid, Fla., Betty Thomley of Perdido and June Townson and Wanda Mosley, both of Andalusia; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Sis. Helen Stewart officiating. Interment followed in Travelers Rest Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Bobby Powell, Joey Thomley, Sean Rhinehart, Scott Farrar, Terry Faust and Wayne Godwin.

Honorary pallbearers were David Weeks and Timothy Thomley.

Family received friends from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday evening, Sept. 5, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of all arrangements.
