Tornado warning issued for Escambia County, Fla.

Some much-needed rain has brought about some severe weather in and around the Atmore area.
A tornado warning remains in effect until 10:00 p.m. CDT for north central Escambia County.
At 9:36 p.m. CDT the National Weather Service Doppler Radar continued to indicate a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This tornado was near Tenile – or about 10 miles west of Molino, moving north at 30 mph. This storm produced significant damage to a home near Elsanor in Baldwin County.
The tornado will be near… McKinnon, Bay Springs and Enon around 9:45 pm CDT; Oak Grove, Walnut Hill, Bratt and Byrneville around 10 p.m. CDT
The safest place to be during a tornado is on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, preferably in an interior hallway or a room such as a closet or bathroom. If possible, get under a workbench or other piece of sturdy furniture. Use blankets or pillows to cover your body and always stay away from windows.
