United Bank will hold its annual Iron Bowl Blood Drive today, Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the main branch in Atmore.

The blood drive will be held on the second floor in the conference room.

“While each of us bleeds orange and blue, crimson and white, or some other special combination, the true winners of Tuesday’s Iron Bowl Blood Drive are the recipients who receive our gift of life,” United Bank Human Resources Officer Anne Hetzel said.

The blood drive is apart of the “Fly into the Holidays” with Delta program.

Anyone who participates in donating blood or platelets between now and Dec. 31 will be entered into a drawing for two pairs of roundtrip Delta Airlines tickets.

All presenting donors will receive a T-shirt and will automatically be entered into a regional drawing for a chance to win the airline tickets.

Donors will also be able to enter in a drawing for a chance to win their choice of an Alabama or Auburn gift basket.
