Employees at First National Bank & Trust went all out to support their teams this week with fans of Alabama and Auburn seeing who could bring in the most canned food as well as have the best decorations.

Every year, FNB&T holds and Alabama/Auburn food drive to raise food for the Atmore Area Christian Care Ministries food pantry.

Kathy Holland, personal banker for FNB&T and the captain of the Alabama team, said there is a big rivalry that helps the cause.

“We have a big rivalry with Alabama and Auburn here,” Holland said. “We always to the food drive to help the food pantry. Mike McMorris was on hand to collect the food we raised as well as a $150 check that will help support the efforts of the AACCM.”

With the teams bringing in food all week leading up to the Iron Bowl on Friday, it seemed as if the Crimson Tide was the winner.

“We always see what team brings the most and this year it looks like Alabama,” Holland said.
