Atmore and Poarch Fire Department personnel are battling a blaze that broke out in the lumber mill at Swift Lumber, Inc., on Swift Mill Road. The fire was believed to be contained to the lumber mill with no injuries immediately reported. The call was dispatched to firefighters around 3 p.m. this afternoon.
