MOBILE – Paul Nottenkamper Jr., 85, of Mobile died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011 in Mobile.
He was retired as an oil rig superintendent, born in Atkins, Ark. on July 25, 1925 to the late Paul and Rose Ehemann Nottenkamper. He was a WWII veteran, a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Mobile and a former member of the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Atmore.
His wife, Virgie Huckaby Nottenkamper, preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Gerald Nottenkamper and wife, Heather, of Mobile; two daughters, Martha Bibler and husband, Mike, of Temple, Texas and Paulette Hebert and husband, Jarvis, of Lafayette, La.; one brother, Joe Nottenkamper of Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Kersten of Atkins, Ark. and Margaret Roberts of Fayetteville, Ark. and six grandchildren, Joshua, James, Dawn, Chris, Jennifer and Brianne.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. from Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens in Mobile.
Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at the church.
